Favorite “Go To” Songs

Sometimes you have a worship set planned and rehearsed but something happens before time to lead. Maybe someone gets sick, or doesn’t show up. Whatever the reason you now have no time to rehearse but have to choose a setlist your team can lead, basically from memory with their eyes closed…

Give me three songs that are in that list…

First, thanks for the link in your blog roll.

Secondly, for me and my worship band…we could do Blessed Be Your Name, Everlasting God, and a song I wrote called Psalm 63 – all with our eyes closed (except for me – since I get the lyrics screwed up in Blessed Be Your Name – the verses, I seem to mix and match phrases if I don’t have the words up).

(Youth worship band leader): Mine would be some older songs:

    1. Days of Elijah (a fav of our group)
    2. Grace Like Rain (Agnew)
    3. Empty Me (Camp)

  3. Jeremiah Says:

    1. Happy Day (the FEE version)
    2. One Way (Hillsong United)
    3. I am Free (Newsboys Version)
