Free Song- Piano Peace
Since I was taking piano lessons at an early age, I have never really liked being told what to play by a piece of sheet music. I always tended to just sit down and play the melodies that came from my head. In college, as an effort to try and develop my improvising I began an exercise of having someone select 5-8 random notes and I would then compose a piano piece using those notes in that order.
I enjoyed this so much that when I began doing concerts I tried the same thing. I had the opportunity to do this at my last concert in Friendswood. I had the congregation call out some notes and this song was the result. Enjoy.

My goal for the Summer is to take all the recordings from this concert and put them on a CD but I thought I’d share the tracks with my facebook fans and blog followers first.
