The ESV bible released by Crossway in partnership with Subsplash (www.subsplash.com) is the best Bible App out there. It is incredibly easy to read and has the best UI. Check it out!

Josh.. thanks for the link to your blog.. great suggestions. I have yet to see what 4square is going to do. In a town like ours it's not used much, but I wonder how it could be used if more people were using it? I have pretty much moved to hootsuite becuase of tracking retweets, columns, and handling multiple accounts. I completely forgot about the wordpress app.. great if your church has a wordpress site...

Planning Center is only good if you are using Planning Center for your worship service.. Ustream is kinda cool..Have used it off and on..

I recently wrote about iPhone apps for clergy over at my blog for the same reason: we share a lot of the same ideas!! Check it out http://expatminister.org/2010/04/19/iphone-apps-for-clergy/

A few suggestions: I recently started with Foursquare, which is fun but doesn't have much utility that I can suss out. I prefer Echofon Pro for my twitter needs, but occasionally use Hootsuite or the official Twitter app. The Wordpress app is a required one for blogging. I haven't found a Bible app that meets all my needs yet; I am going to have to look into one of the expensive ones, I guess.

Thanks for your thoughts...I'll have to look into Planning Center & Ustream apps.

There are options on the lectionary app - you may have the "wrong" one selected. Milebug is an excellent idea to use!! Your tax preparer will thank you!
