- It is Well With My Soul
by Horatio G Spafford - When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.- Refrain:
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
- Refrain:
- Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul. - My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul! - For me, be it Christ, be it Christ hence to live:
If Jordan above me shall roll,
No pang shall be mine, for in death as in life
Thou wilt whisper Thy peace to my soul. - But, Lord, ’tis for Thee, for Thy coming we wait,
The sky, not the grave, is our goal;
Oh, trump of the angel! Oh, voice of the Lord!
Blessed hope, blessed rest of my soul! - And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.

Free Background- Garden Angel Blur in 4 Colors
Jan 2, 2009 Free Stuff, Photos and Backgrounds
One of the most downloaded backgrounds on this site has been the Garden Angel Blur that I made from a photo I had taken this Summer at one of my work camps. I thought maybe someone would like it in a color other than green… so here they are. Click on the image once to go to the gallery, and then again to view the full sized image. Then right click and save. You are free to use them for your worship services, announcements etc.. It would be cool if you would let me know how you used them.

Sunday Setlist 12/28/08
Dec 28, 2008 Worship Planning
Most weeks at our church we have simultaneous contemporary and traditional worship services at the 10:30 to 11:30 hour. Periodically for special occasions we combine services into one location. This week we combined in the contemporary service. It was nice to see some people I don’t normally get to see on a weekly basis.
Songlist-
Go Tell it on the Mountain- Our drummer does a great job singing this song and the band loves playing it so I just let them go for it.
Angels We Have Heard on High- This is a calypso version that they were doing before I got here. With all these songs they stayed fairly true to rhythm and melody so they were different but still easy to sing along with.
It Came Upon a Midnight Clear-
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen- This version had kind of a night club bluesy type feel. Kerri did a great job on it though.
Our Great God- Ok so we took the words to the hymn “While Shepherds Watched their flocks by night” and put two verses in for one verse of “Our Great God” then did the chorus as usual. Great way to blend old and new, and now we can use “Our Great God” as a worship tune the rest of the year.
You can check out what other worship services were doing this week and for the 22 weeks before this at Sunday Setlist #23 on Fred McKinnon’s Blog

Free Song: Angelise
Aug 23, 2008 Free Stuff
I think that God speaks to us in many different and unique ways. I think also that we can speak to him in different ways. Some of us prefer to express our thoughts in poetry, some by serving and building things, some on our knees in prayer. I have always felt connected most when music is involved. Music is the way I express myself, my thoughts, my emotions. My mom said I used to come home after school, go to the back room where the piano was and play. If I had experienced a particularly rough day, my song would start out fast, furious and angry , but as I played would mellow out, become more lyrical and peaceful.
I still continue to play. I mean I write and lead music on the piano as part of worship, but sometimes I really like to go in and sit down and just play whatever comes to mind. I am amazed how much i can work things out, how long I can spend thinking about God, talking to God and expressing through the keys.
Angelise was written in one such session while I was on a mission trip in Mexico. I found a few minutes after a long day of work, sat down at a slightly out of tune piano and began playing this simple melody. The name of the song comes from a french baby name meaning angelic.
I put it up here for you to listen to. I have not yet written out the music or know if anyone would be interested in it. For now though just listen, and enjoy.
Right click on ANGELISE and save as to save to your computer. The recording comes from my CD “From Me To You” which is available on my Indie Heaven Website.
Please reply and let me know what you think.

Ok.. so everything is free on this site. That’s kind of the whole idea but I wanted to be able to have a place to share resources that come my way or that I create. The first one is fairly simple. It is a background I made using a picture taken at College UM ARMY of an angel statue.
Right click the link and save as.
If you have resources you would like to share please email them to me. If I post them I will give you a link back to your site and a huge thanks. Thanks.
